DEFINITION OF GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will be directly subordinate to the CEO of ARB Europe based in Prague – at our European distribution center. The main task of the successful candidate will operate our European logistics center and also will be responsible for managing ARB Europe production team, which will be mainly focus at canopies, slide kitchen and other production. Person will also manage logistics operations based in Prague - in Kunice.
SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overview and development of new storage processes. Overview floor plan layouts, rack systems, and general infrastructure
- Coordination of incoming and outgoing goods and logistics
- Effective receipt, categorization, storage, pickup, packaging and shipping of ARB products to customers in Europe
- Manage warehouse work and local production
- Hire and manage warehouse and production staff including temp working staff
- Be active member of local Excom and help with company projects
- HR responsibilities for direct reports – taking care about direct report needs and communicate needs to manager, training production staff and helping with hiring new staff
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory management, reporting and work with WorkOrders and BOMs in JDE. Care for consumables, waste, etc. ...
- Production (Canopy, kitchens, etc.) parts stock management with CS team help
- Manage production work and prepare weekly production plans
- Production inventory management and reporting. Care for consumables, waste, etc. ...
- Manage cycle counts in cooperation with finance department
- Communicate with logistics companies and track shipments to the final destination including container tracking
- Communication with external suppliers – painting shop, packing material suppliers, etc.
- Regular scheduled maintenance of machines and equipment
- Workplace safety coordination
- To help with ISO certification as internal auditor function
- Outgoing process and layout improvements
GENERAL QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
- An excellent knowledge of English is a prerequisite, both verbally and in writing
- At least 2-3 years of experience in warehousing and logistics operations, production experience will be advantage.
- A deep understanding of European logistics is essential.
- Computer literacy
- A forklift driver's license is a requirement
- Clean criminal record
