We are searching for two talented individuals to join us in the role of Senior Source-to-Contract Specialist with Special Projects, EMEA.

As a Senior Source-to-Contract Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping our Global Services Procurement team deliver results that support our company’s goals. You'll work closely with the business teams, category leaders, and other parts of the organization to ensure smooth sourcing and contracting processes.

Your main responsibilities will include executing our sourcing plans, building strong supplier relationships, handling contract negotiations, creation, and management. You'll also look for ways to improve procurement strategies and stay updated on market trends to benefit the company.

This is a senior role for an experienced professional who can work independently with little supervision, making an impact through your expertise and proactive approach.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Source-to-Contract function, including sourcing event management, price and other contract terms negotiation, contract drafting and execution, and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.
  • Perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baseline for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirement. Understand your data.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence, risk assessments, and total cost projections.
  • Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders, works to understand their business objectives, and provides support in addressing their needs.
  • Creates Value by developing strong, value-added working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations
  • Mentors and collaborates amongst a team of Source-to-Contract specialists.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualification/requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the Pharma Industry in Procurement, Finance, or Logistic departments
  • Language requirements: English, preferably Kazakh, or other Caucasian language, all in fluent levels.
  • Experience in leading Procurement projects in the following geographies: Middle East, Kazakhstan, or another Caucasian region.
  • Proven Sourcing Category experience and delivering savings for: Marketing, CCFS, Professional Education & Access, IT, Business Services
  • 5+ years of Project management experience
  • Strong history of negotiating with vendors and partners to maximize delivery of savings and operational efficiencies
  • Proven track record experience in managing Caucasian and Middle East country legal & compliance requirements
  • Strong influencing skills to drive progress & results remotely
  • Excellent presentation skills in both preparing & delivering presentations and securing successful implementation
  • Strong Analytical Sills in Excel, Power BI
  • Highly skilled in Stakeholder management in high pressure environments
  • Good understanding of Requisition-to-pay and Source-to-settle processes and operations.
  • Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains: Sourcing incl. negotiation of commercial and non-commercial terms, Category management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or engineering equivalent University degree is required, An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.
