At SENZOMATIC, we support sustainable construction by helping owners, developers, architects, insurers, and other stakeholders manage the risk of moisture and mold damage in wooden buildings.

We’re expanding into North America and looking for a Country Manager for Canada to establish and grow our presence in this exciting market. You’ll be the face of SENZOMATIC for Canada - responsible for developing relationships with key stakeholders, building our sales pipeline, and ensuring successful entry into the market.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role: you’ll be based in our Prague office while leading SENZOMATIC’s efforts in the Canadian market remotely. You’ll navigate the local Canadian construction, insurance, and property development industries from afar, combining business development, partnership-building, and strategic market insight to make SENZOMATIC a trusted name in Canada.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading SENZOMATIC’s entry and growth in the Canadian market

  • Building relationships with developers, architects, insurers, and construction firms

  • Driving business development, from outreach to closing key deals

  • Acting as the local go-to person for customers and partners

  • Localizing and adapting marketing and sales materials to the Canadian context

  • Representing SENZOMATIC at industry conferences, trade shows, and events

  • Coordinating with the Prague HQ (sales, marketing, product, hardware teams)

  • Handling basic operational tasks needed to set up and grow our local presence

  • Sales and providing tech support

  • Reporting directly to the CEO on progress and strategy

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or market entry (B2B preferred) in timber industry

  • Strong network or knowledge of the Canadian construction, property, or insurance sectors

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable working independently in a new market

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution

  • Fluency in English (French is a plus, especially for Quebec market)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with IoT, SaaS, or construction technology products

  • Knowledge of sustainability trends and regulations in the Canadian market

  • Track record of scaling an early-stage company in a new region

  • Bilingual English/French communication skills
