Senior Operational Quality Lead
Are you ready to lead quality and process excellence in a high-tech manufacturing environment? Meopta is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to drive continuous improvement, product quality, and operational efficiency across optics and mechanical production.
Your Mission: Lead quality assurance and process engineering teams to deliver world-class products. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with industry standards and exceed customer expectations.
What You'll Do:
Provide leadership and technical direction to quality and process engineering teams.
Minimize defects and waste through non-conformance and scrap management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in optics and mechanical manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with ISO and customer standards through audits and corrective actions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align quality strategies with business goals.
Use data analytics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Interface with customers and suppliers on quality matters.
Present quality KPIs and insights to senior management.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years in senior quality management roles in optics, mechanical, or precision manufacturing.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, including process engineers.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
Expertise in non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Experience in optomechanical manufacturing.
Knowledge of SPC, APQP, PPAP, and quality tools (MSA, FMEA, 8D, QRQC).
Familiarity with ERP and QMS systems.
VDA 6.3 Auditor certification is a plus.
Good command of English (min. B2).
