What will you do on a typical day?
- Controlling and reporting on working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations and rules at work, implementing changes in the field of safe practices and work procedures
- Motivating and inspiring all staff to commit to complying with health and safety standards
- Taking active measures to build awareness in the area of health and safety, in particular to eliminate accidents and accident hazards
- Implementation of health and safety training on a specific topic in accordance with the guidelines of the Health and Safety Manager
- Performing the tasks of the OHS service in accordance with applicable regulations
- Initiating activities and issuing opinions on proposed solutions in the field of health and safety
- Conducting audits and inspections of facilities related to health and safety
- Conducting initial health and safety training
- Developing and updating training materials
- Preparation and supervision of documentation regarding the implemented health and safety management systems
- Preparation of necessary analyzes and statistics, preparation of reports in accordance with the company's internal procedures
- Analysis of workstations in terms of ergonomics
- Maintaining, updating, and managing content in the field of health and safety documentation
- Maintaining and preparing registers and reports on health and safety as required by law
- Cooperation with an international team
- Preparation of post-accident documentation, analysis of accident data, as well as analysis of new processes and machines in terms of near misses; conducting risk analysis and safety assessment for a given workplace
- Knowledge of environmental protection regulations and reporting in this regard
- Responsibility for external audits: client, ISO, control bodies, insurer, internal audits
What do you need to apply?
- Min. High school degree
- Experience in a similar position for a period of 1 year
- Experience in a plant employing at least 100 people
- Knowledge of policies, procedures and good practices in the field of health and safety at work
- Fluency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the English or Polish language enabling easy communication, Czech native speaker
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Independence in action
- Knowledge of the current health and safety regulations, fire protection, environmental protection, and machinery directive.
