We are looking for a reliable and independent colleague to join our Operational Purchasing team and take responsibility for the Essential category.

This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth production processes and involves regular coordination with the Category Manager as well as the Planning and Quality departments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time delivery and availability of selected materials within the Essential category, considering quality specifications, and total cost
• Communicate proactively and independently with suppliers; negotiate prices and contractual terms within defined limits
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, and Quality departments to ensure a stable material flow
• Evaluate supplier offers and take part in supplier selection
• Monitor and optimize stock levels in accordance with defined processes
• Coordinate the complaint process and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
• Manage purchasing-related administration and maintain accurate data in SAP
• Participate in various purchasing projects in cooperation with Category Management

Your Profile:

• Secondary school or university degree, preferably in a technical field
• Experience in operational purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Good command of English (German language skills are an advantage)
• Proficient user of MS Office and SAP
• Analytical mindset with a systematic and detail-oriented work approach
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Team-oriented personality with a proactive and results-driven attitude
• Experience in conducting price negotiations
