Role Overview
The Strategic Buyer is responsible for managing supplier relationships, implementing sourcing strategies, and ensuring competitive purchasing conditions. This role requires cooperation with internal stakeholders, participation in supplier negotiations, and overseeing procurement activities to support both operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategic purchasing activities for assigned suppliers and materials
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency
- Lead negotiation of pricing and commercial terms
- Evaluate supplier quotations and participate in supplier selection
- Monitor and analyze market trends and cost impacts
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation in ERP systems
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Good understanding of procurement processes and cost management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required
