Job Description

We are an early-stage startup focused on developing innovative functional gummies and food supplements that combine science-backed formulations with consumer appeal. Our mission is to create products that enhance health and well-being while setting new standards for taste, texture, and efficacy.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Research and Development Assistant to support our research, development, and production efforts. The position involves hands-on work in the lab and pilot facility, assisting in product formulation, process optimization, and scaling of functional gummies and other supplement formats.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent science graduate eager to gain experience in a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Nutrition, Biotechnology, or a related discipline

• Experience in R&D, lab experiments, or process optimization (academic, internship, or industrial)

• Basic understanding of food supplement formulation and functional ingredients

• Familiarity with lab equipment, food processing techniques, and safety protocols

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment

• Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Hands-on experience in food product development or nutraceuticals

  • Knowledge of gummy or confectionery processing

  • Understanding of regulatory standards for food supplements

  • Experience with sensory evaluation or consumer testing
