Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MS Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands on experience with Azure ecosystem, a strong background in software development and operations, with a passion for implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

As a MS Azure DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the secure and efficient deployment of our applications and infrastructure in Azure cloud.

Core Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture.

• Design and automate infrastructure deployment through IaC.

• Participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and knowledge exchange.

• Implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and infrastructure.

• Follow changes to security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.

• Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management.

• Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices.

• Experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools and vulnerability scanners.

• Experience with Azure and its related services (AppService, AKS, AKV, Private Networking).

• Experience with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps).

• Experience with implementing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, GitHub).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of networking technologies, security protocols and best practices

• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration, including configuration, optimization, and security
