We are developers of Captain of Industry - a popular game on Steam. We are looking for an experienced C# and ASP.NET software engineer to help us grow and maintain our community website.This is a fixed scope project ~12 months with a possibility of extension in case of successful collaboration. It is possible to work either full-time or part-time based on your availability. Fully remote.

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of C#, writing high-quality performant code, unit tests.
• Excellent knowledge of LINQ, Entity Framework (including its performance trade-offs), SQL.
• Good knowledge of HTML, Bootstrap, responsive design, JS, jQuery.
• Ability to demonstrate an already finished project in ASP.NET stack.
• Ability to be productive and independent while working remotely (e.g. having a home-office).
• Motivation to learn new things and take constructive feedback.
• Effective communication skills in English for collaborating in an international team.
• Ability to work on a contractual basis.
• Ability to commit at least 3 work days per week to the project.

What you can expect to work on

• Full ownership of the website stack - from design, implementation to testing.
• Integrating design mocks into responsive css.
• Streamlining existing code, improving readability.
• Designing and implementing new features.
• Introducing new APIs used by the game and potentially helping with their integration into the game.
• Profiling and optimizing existing pages.
• Bug fixing and unit testing.
