Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the global Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) program, including supplier selection, approval, auditing, monitoring, and evaluation
• Lead and mentor the global SQA team and coordinate both remote and onsite auditors
• Plan and conduct regular supplier audits (e.g., quality management systems, manufacturing processes, GMP/ISO compliance)
• Perform supplier risk assessments and risk management using methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, and Quality departments to ensure product compliance throughout the supply chain
• Define and monitor supplier quality KPIs, conduct trend analyses, and initiate and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Develop audit standards, checklists, and audit schedules; provide training to SQA teams and suppliers
• Evaluate and approve new or modified supplier risk profiles; develop and implement supplier development plans and continuous improvement projects
• Conduct supplier calibrations and performance reviews, including the creation of supplier scorecards and escalation management in case of deviations
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, GMP) as well as country-specific regulatory requirements
• Manage incidents and complaints within the supply chain in close coordination with recall and repair processes

Your Profile:

• University degree in engineering or business administration and several years of professional experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in an international environment
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, GMP) and audit methodologies (SSQ/2nd Party, Core Tools); ideally certified (e.g., ASQ CQE/CSQP, CQI/Prim); experience with GMP and regulatory requirements is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, and experience in CAPA management
• Solid project and change management skills, with a focus on sustainable problem-solving
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
• Initial leadership experience is desirable
• Willingness to travel
