We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to strengthen Bilfinger CEE’s presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In this senior role, you will shape our growth strategy, identify new market opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with key clients and stakeholders across the industrial sector.
 
This position offers the chance to work on diverse and strategic projects, influence company direction in the region, and collaborate with international colleagues in an innovative and dynamic environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities and market segments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia within Bilfinger CEE.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Lead the preparation of solution proposals, commercial offers, and tenders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, consulting, project management, marketing) to deliver technically and commercially viable solutions.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, regulations, and technological developments to keep our offering competitive and innovative.
  • Define and implement growth strategies for CZ & SK in alignment with Bilfinger CEE’s overall strategic goals.
  • Contribute and support strategic activities of CEE business development team

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector, preferably process or mechanical engineering.
  • background in engineering/consulting or project management and execution is highly valued.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record in closing complex contracts.
  • Experience managing teams and engaging multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
  • Office location: Prague or Pardubice
