Overview
A Technical Project Manager (TPM) serves in a hybrid capacity, blending technical acumen with advanced project management skills. The TPM is accountable for planning, executing, and delivering complex technical RPA projects using UI Path platform — within predefined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role includes gathering customer pain points during analysis sessions with customers stakeholders, facilitating communication between clients and internal teams, and providing direct input to the RPA development team and sales department to support pricing strategies and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as one of the key contacts between customers, sales, and developers.
Assist to assign tasks to developers and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
Assist to Document and price change requests before starting work.
Keep an updated charge sheet for support, changes, and new clients.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leads.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: project charter, detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), resource plans, budget trackers and project documentation.
Build and manage cross-functional technical teams (developers, DevOps, QA, data engineers, architects, security, etc.).
Track and report progress using given tools.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks; escalate when necessary.
Manage dependencies across multiple teams, programs, or vendors.
Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making (architecture reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
Ensure engineering best practices are followed (CI/CD, code reviews, testing strategy, security & compliance requirements).
Control scope, schedule, and budget; manage change requests through formal change control processes.
Coordinate release planning, deployments, and production roll-outs.
Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (C-level, business sponsors, customers).
Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Native Czech and Good English required.
Technical acumen (must have)
Strong understanding of software development life cycles, UI Path workflow, process and documentation knowledge required but no developer level skills required.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.
Project management
min. 5 years of project/program management experience delivering technical projects.
Certified: PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), SAFe Agilist/SPC, or equivalent.
Advance level proficiency with Agile and traditional tools.
Soft skills

Typical backgrounds
Former software engineer, solutions architect, or technical lead who moved into project/program management OR classic PM with significant experience running engineering-heavy projects.
Compensation:
Monthly review of hours, approval and charge by invoice.
Contractor agreement: 120–160 hours/month.
Remote work is allowed initially; office policy will be implemented in 2026.
Use your own laptop/PC. No license fees or other compensation unless agreed in writing.
