Project Manager – Transformation Office
Reports to:Chief Transformation Officer
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized, communicative, and results-driven Project Manager to join Meopta’s Transformation Office. This role will be instrumental in driving and coordinating strategic transformation initiatives across the organization. The Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Transformation Officer and will lead a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at improving efficiency, optimizing operations, and shaping the future operating model of Meopta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage transformation projects from initiation to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and transformation strategy.
- Oversee projects of various types, including but not limited to:
- Make vs. Buy analysis and implementation across Mechanical, Tooling, Surface Treatment, and Optical areas.
- Lean Transformation projects focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process improvement.
- Warehouse consolidation and logistics optimization initiatives.
- Digitalization and document archiving projects supporting process automation and data accessibility.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication between departments and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report project progress to the Chief Transformation Officer and other stakeholders.
- Drive accountability, ensure milestones are met, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Identify and escalate potential risks, issues, and dependencies early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the overall transformation roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, ideally in manufacturing, operations, or transformation environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of Lean principles, operational excellence, or transformation methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across all organizational levels.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Czech language.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is an advantage.
