We’re building the next generation of our ERP 2.0 platform and are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails fullstack developer who can take ownership, think independently, and help us move faster. You’ll work closely with our core team on developing new features, refining architecture, and bringing our Figma designs to life.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, communicates proactively, and thrives in an environment where they can influence technical decisions. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait for step-by-step instructions but actively asks questions, proposes ideas, and pushes the product forward.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing new features and improving existing ones in Ruby on Rails

• Translating our Figma designs into clean, functional frontend code

• Working with Docker or other containerization tools

• Integrating JavaScript into the RoR environment (e.g., Hotwire, Stimulus Reflex, etc.)

• Creating and maintaining REST APIs (experience with Grape is a plus)

• Writing maintainable, testable code (RSpec advantage)

• Collaborating with the team on architecture, tools, and improvements

• Bringing ideas, best practices, and new approaches to the table

• Helping with occasional adjustments in other services (e.g., simple Go scripts or Kubernetes configs)

What you’ll need:

• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails (medior-senior level depending on skillset)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

• Proactive mindset - asking questions, thinking ahead, solving problems without detailed specs

• Confidence working with Docker or other containerized environments

• Ability to integrate JavaScript into RoR and actively use modern JS frameworks/tools

• Experience building REST APIs

• Understanding of cloud-related topics and distributed environments

Nice to have:

• PostgreSQL

• Kubernetes

• Redis

• RabbitMQ

• Prometheus

• GitLab

• Experience with Go, nginx scripts, or Kubernetes configurations

• Ability to occasionally contribute to other services beyond RoR

Working expectations:

• Willingness to come to Prague 2-3 days per month
