EUROWAG offers unique experience for its legal roles. We are a London Stock Exchange listed company with business operations in over 30 countries within Europe and beyond.
 
As a generalist member of the in-house legal team based in the Prague operational headquarters, your maternity leave cover role will include a wide and interesting range of corporate and commercial legal matters.
 
Type and term: Maternity leave cover, 1 year contract. Possibility of conversion to FTE exists but is not guaranteed.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate from university of law (Czech Republic);
  • At least 2-3 years recent working experience as a lawyer (or koncipient)
  • Native Czech and high-level English (written and spoken);
  • Commercial savvy and attentiveness to detail;
  • Active and positive approach and eagerness to learn new things;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • User knowledge of MS Office and other company software;
  • Curiosity and interest in implementing legal AI solutions and willingness to improve skills and to share know-how;
  • Desire and ability to adapt and respond to diverse challenges and interactions as part of a multi-jurisdictional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating, drafting and revising contracts relating to the Eurowag group’s operations, business, products and services across its jurisdictions of operation, with particular areas of expertise to be determined upon conclusion of the Employee’s probationary period; e.g., customer contracts, fleet management services, payment solutions, e-mobility solutions, fuel and alternative fuel supply, fuel station operations;
  • Researching specific legal and regulatory topics relevant to Eurowag group’s business and operations;
  • Managing administration of confidential documents, corporate government documentation, IP portfolio documentation, POAs and other internal legal documents of Eurowag group companies.
