Our client is a travel blog that is on a mission to create the ultimate destination for in-depth travel articles that are as enticing as the journeys they describe. We’re looking for a part-time writer who is not only skilled but also puts their heart into the project. If we’re just described you, and you also meet most of the criteria below, you might just be the writer we’re looking for.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities.

Language Proficiency:

• Excellent command of American English
• Ability to write in a natural, conversational tone that includes humor, idioms, and colloquial expression

Writing Skills:

• Able to write engaging long-form content that is straight to the point with no fluff
• Understands and anticipates readers' needs to provide relevant content
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in quality
• Capable of maintaining the blog's style and tone

Research:

• Independent and resourceful in gathering information and proactive in fact-checking
• Able to think beyond the obvious and provide more than just basic information

Work Ethic:

• Meets deadlines consistently
• Communicates promptly and effectively with team members
• Quick on their toes and adaptable to new information or changes

Experience Level:

• Open to less experienced writers who meet all other criteria and are willing to learn.
• No specific requirement for years of writing experience.
