Join our business unit and play a key role in shaping safety culture on our big residential projects in Prague.

We are looking for:

  • University degree (technical field preferred: environmental, H&S, construction)
  • 2+ years of experience in health & safety within residential development or construction
  • Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and construction specifics
  • Good English spoken and written (English speaking manager), and Czech (essential)
  • Act or be ready to act as Safety Coordinator on site (Certification Health and Safety Coordinator on Construction Site (§10 Act 309/2006 Sb.) is not necessary)
  • PC skills: MS Office, Outlook, CAD
  • Driving license B

Key responsibilities and activities:

  • Culture & Compliance: Support open communication and cooperation; follow Skanska values and procedures.
  • Documentation & ISO: Maintain EHS documentation and records; ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001.
  • Reporting: Prepare H&S performance reports, monitor compliance, and implement legislative changes.
  • Incident Management: Investigate accidents, maintain incident database, and share lessons learned.
  • Operational: Act as Health and Safety Coordinator on site; ensure compliance with client, Skanska, and legal standards; audit safety performance; liaise with designers and contractors.
  • Training: Deliver H&S training, identify needs, and coach project teams on EHS systems.
  • Communication: Prepare meeting notes and ensure timely information flow.
