Your Role

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the full general ledger, ensuring all postings are accurate and timely.
• Record day-to-day transactions and complete the posting process across all areas of operational accounting (except for reinsurance portfolio).
• Oversee and process fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and inventory.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Assist with quarterly closings.

Tasks and duties:

• Execute accounting operations in compliance with local tax and accounting requirements.
• Record supplier invoices, advances, business travel settlements, clearings.
• Manage the fixed assets agenda, including inventory and related reconciliations.
• Perform quarterly general ledger reconciliations.
• Carry out process checks and support internal controls.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks as required.

What We Expect

• Education in economics, business administration, or accounting (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and Czech Accounting Standards.
• Understanding of Czech tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software SAP FI, including SAP FI-AA for fixed assets.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operational accounting with general ledger responsibility.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset.
