As a Demand Planner within Resideo, you'd be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing all customer and product-level forecasts. This role builds robust forecast models by integrating data and insights from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Retailer Replenishment teams, and syndicated sources such as Nielsen. As a key contributor to the commercial planning process, the Demand Planner serves as the primary liaison between Demand Planning and the Sales/Commercial organization.
This position provides a strong development pathway, preparing individuals for advancement, offering exposure to strategic forecasting and cross-functional collaboration. The Demand Planner leads the monthly demand review discussions for assigned customers and product categories, ensuring alignment, accuracy, and a data-driven approach to demand planning.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple products and time horizons, leveraging historical trends, statistical models, and market insights.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand drivers, reconcile variances, and align forecasts with business priorities.
- Facilitate consensus-building sessions with cross-functional teams to ensure operational forecasts reflect the most current and reliable information.
- Maintain and optimize demand planning tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights for supply planning and inventory strategies.
- Provide input on new product launches, product phase-outs, and promotional plans to support supply chain and business decision-making.
- Analyze forecast performance, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to continually enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports that inform strategic planning, customer replenishment, and overall business performance.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or a closely related field
- Strong background in statistical analysis and data-driven forecasting within complex, high-variance environments, with a clear understanding of financial and operational impacts.
- Experience with Demand Planning software is preferred.
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, impactful presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required.
- Proficiency in English is required.
WE VALUE:
- Experience with advanced forecasting tools and analytics platforms (e.g., o9, SAP/APO, Manugistics, Oracle Demand Planning).
- Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques, data visualization, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, R).
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of how demand planning impacts supply chain, inventory, and financial performance.
