Element has an opportunity for a Process Engineer who would help us develop and optimize our processes across manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on improving productivity, quality, cost, and delivery through structured analysis, standardization, and automation. Process Engineer leads continuous improvement initiatives from analysis through implementation and ensures measurable operational results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify waste, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Improve productivity, quality, and efficiency using Lean, Zero Defects, and APQP tools.
• Define standard work, standard time, and capacity for production, testing, and machining.
• Design and improve production layouts to support flow and space efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement activities using SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation projects in cooperation with key stakeholders.
• Train employees in improvement methods and support shop floor implementation.
• Prepare CAPEX recommendations and support equipment installation.
• Monitor results and ensure sustainability of improvements.
• Manage project governance, risks, and weekly reporting of operational metrics.

Skills / Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principle
• Practical experience with Zero Defects and APQP tools
• Proven use of PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, and MSA
• Experience in machining and testing environments preferred
• Czech native, English min level B2
