What you´ll do?

• Develop innovative design concepts for automotive pedal modules, sensors, and electronic throttle controls
• Create CAD models, renderings, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design intent
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and usability testing to ensure user comfort and safety
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and styling teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic goals
• Packaging investigation: Review customer specifications for clearance and packaging requirements
• Revise 3D data and drawings per engineering changes and QA procedures
• Check drawings for accuracy and completeness; perform tolerance stack-ups and interference checks
• Work with prototype and testing teams on initial sample assembly to ensure design intent
• Exercise authority to control non-conforming product and report via Environmental Management System
• Prepare design briefs, concept presentations, and mockups for stakeholder review
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging materials, and best practices in product design

What we´re looking for:

• University or College Engineering Degree, Technician and/or Technologist Diploma, or equivalent experience in Automotive Product Desig
• 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the automotive industry.Experience with Lean methodologies (VSM, 5S, SMED, etc.)
• CAD software (Catia V5/V6 and/or NX CAD Software), TCE (Team Center Engineering) preferred, 2D drawing creation
• English at communication level, German at least on basic level
• Knowledge of automotive design trends and materials
• Familiar with design briefs, mock-ups, usability testing, ergonomics standards, tolerance stack-ups
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
