Manager for innovations and proof-of-concept projects (292)

Job description:

• Portfolio management and market validation of ELI’s PoC and innovation projects, testing readiness for funding;
• Identification of emerging opportunities, scanning of research outputs and linking them with external technology trends;
• Supporting pathways for research outcomes to enter the market (demonstrable prototypes, validated concepts, spin-offs, licensing); and
• Fostering collaboration between ELI’s research groups and external partners (industry, other research institutions).

Requirements:

• Science or engineering degree, or equivalent;
• Knowledge of innovation management, technology management, or business administration;
• Knowledge of research environments;
• Experience with evaluating and developing early-stage technologies is a strong advantage;
• Experience with technology assessment, feasibility studies, and prototype validation is a strong advantage; and
• Basic knowledge of project lifecycles, budgeting, and reporting.
