We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for our plant in Hodonín.

The Finance Manager is responsible for two key areas:

Financial Management – including financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the plant.
Team Leadership – managing the Finance, Payroll, and Cost Control teams to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial reporting and accounting processes (internal and external) in compliance with Czech accounting standards, IFRS, and Munters Financial Manual.
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting, including variance analysis and corrective actions.
  • Act as a proactive business partner to the Plant Manager, Hodonín Operations management team, and the central Finance organization.
  • Ensure proper documentation of accounting processes and transactions, implement control mechanisms, and strengthen compliance.
  • Manage working capital with a strong focus on receivables, credit management, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and maintain relationships with external auditors and authorities.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks affecting reporting efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate product cost data in ERP systems and ensure data integrity for reporting and analysis.
  • Evaluate long-term investments and expenditures, provide recommendations, and monitor implementation.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3–5 employees in Accounting and Payroll.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills for financial planning and forecasting.
  • Practical knowledge of Czech accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAP), controlling, risk management, and taxation.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments and product costing.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in ERP systems and process improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix organization and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
