Verification Engineer - Automotive Electromagnetic & Inductive Sensors
O pozici
You will work closely with hardware, systems, and test development teams to ensure sensor performance, robustness, and compliance with automotive requirements across operating conditions.
Job Description
Plan, execute, and document verification and validation tests for electromagnetic, Hall-effect, and inductive sensors
Operate and control custom-developed laboratory measurement setups, combining control equipment (NI boards) & standardized measurement devices. Identify and define updates to optimize these setups.
Use and modify LabVIEW custom-developed modules to automate tests, control hardware, and manage test sequences
Perform sensor characterization across electrical, magnetic, and environmental conditions
Acquire, record, and manage high-quality measurement data from bench and laboratory testing
Analyze data to assess sensor accuracy, linearity, hysteresis, noise, drift, temperature behavior, and robustness
Identify performance limitations, anomalies, and root causes in test results
Provide clear technical feedback and data-driven recommendations to hardware engineers to support sensor design improvements
Support debugging of sensor, ASIC, PCB, and test setup interactions
Prepare structured test reports, characterization summaries, and verification documentation
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field
Practical experience using LabVIEW for test development, test control, automation, and data acquisition
Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles and sensor technologies, particularly Hall-effect and inductive sensors
Knowledge of magnetic field generation, coils, magnets, shielding, and EMC-relevant effects on sensor behavior
Knowledge of magnetic field and EMC measurement devices
Experience with data analysis tools such as DIAdem, Excel, or similar. Ability to translate results into actionable design feedback
Experience working with prototype hardware and early-stage sensor designs (ex: programming)
Experience in automotive sensor development or automotive electronics
Understanding of automotive development standards and processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262, or similar)
Hands-on mindset with strong laboratory skills
Curiosity to understand sensor physics and root causes of performance issues
