We are looking for a stratetegic Group Technical Director to drive innovation and product development across the Wikov Group. As Group Technical Director, you will define product strategy and roadmap for existing and new mechanical, digital and hybrid solutions, with strong focus on standardization, design-to-cost and long-term competitiveness.

What will be your mission?

• Set product strategy and architecture across the group.
• Lead Product Management and coordinate development teams.
• Drive standardization, modularization and cost reduction.
• Benchmark competition and continuously shape the product portfolio.
• Support make-or-buy decisions and technological investments.
• Cooperate closely with Sales, Procurement, Marketing and CIO (SAP PDM, AI in development).
• Ensure knowledge sharing and synergies across group companies.
• Continuous competition and competitive products benchmarking to assure ongoing product portfoilio and cost structure shaping.
• Direct leadership of Product Management team (team members coming from individual companies across the group).
• Product development executed between Product Management team and technical teams from individual companies under GTD senior leadership.

 
What we expect:

• University degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or similar.
• Strong experience in development of complex drivetrain systems.
• Deep knowledge of modern design, analysis and manufacturing methods.
• Experience in senior team leadership.
• Strategic thinking with strong business and customer focus.
• English at communicative level (German is a plus).
• Willingness to travel.
