As our Parametric Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in standardizing the components of our energy plants. We see standardized and automated mechanical design as a critical driver of competitiveness. Design automation is only the starting point, over time, you’ll also help shape downstream processes such as work preparation and production automation.
A core part of your role will be simplifying and automating mechanical design processes, both within the Dynamics team and across the wider VYNCKE organization.
About the job
As our Parametric Design Engineer, you will:
- Become familiar with the VYNCKE products and develop the design automation through the parametric design.
- Analyze existing product setups, identify opportunities for standardization, and propose improvements.
- Standardize components and create parametric models that increase design efficiency during the application by the Product Designers.
- Lead parametric design early in the product development process, defining boundaries and encouraging innovative solutions.
- Maintain and continuously improve the parametric models library.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development Engineers to ensure quality, consistency, and up-to-date standards.
- Support internal teams such as Product Designers, Development Engineers and the Manufacturing Team.
- Proactively seek new opportunities to improve design efficiency across processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote safe design practices.
About you
We imagine our ideal candidate would:
- Hold a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, power or heat transfer engineering, or have equivalent experience.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in 3D design, with proven expertise in creating parametric models that deliver significant time savings.
- Be an expert user of 3D design tools, especially Autodesk Inventor and Visual Basic; knowledge of C# or C++ is an asset.
- Have experience with the design of pressure parts and stress calculations.
- Continuously look for ways to automate and replace repetitive manual work with smart solutions.
- Be fluent in Czech and English.
