About the role:

As our Product Catalog & Customer Success Director, you will lead the entire Operations division across the region and drive the strategy, performance, and transformation of one of the most business-critical parts of Heureka Group.

You will oversee key teams - Content, Inspirational Content, and Customer Success across CZ/SK/HU/RO/BG and you will also act as the Content Gang Leader, steering a cross-functional, project-based group responsible for delivering world-class product catalogue quality for all Heureka markets.

Your role combines strategic leadership, international operations management, financial responsibility, and cross-functional alignment with Product, Tech, Data, Sales, and our top management team.This is a high-impact executive role with visibility across the entire Group.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and scale Operations across multiple markets

• Oversee Content teams and Inspirational Content teams.
• Lead Customer Success teams and elevate B2B relationships toward higher business impact.
• Ensure operational excellence with a strong focus on scalability, performance, efficiency, and service quality.

Own and drive the Content Gang strategy

• Define and execute the group-wide Product Catalogue strategic direction.
• Lead a cross-functional “Content Gang” (Product, Development, Data, BI, Sales).
• Own the whole Content P&L.

Accelerate innovation through AI & automation

• Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline operations using GenAI and ML.
• Collaborate closely with Product & Tech leadership to embed AI into the content and catalogue processes.

Lead, mentor, and empower a large regional team

• Manage 5 direct reports and ~150 team members across multiple offices.
• Provide clarity on priorities, support development, challenge allocations, and ensure teams operate effectively.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Ensure business performance & financial responsibility

• Act as full owner of the Operations budget.
• Plan and manage costs, optimize resource allocation, and make financially sound decisions across the division.

Drive cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with CPO, CTO, CFO, and other Group executives.
• Resolve strategic and operational blockers, align teams on priorities, and support group-wide initiatives.

What are we expecting from you:

• Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role (e-commerce industry as an advantage but not a necessity).
• Strong business experience with solid retail business understanding, including commercial thinking and decision-making.
• Experience in people leadership with the track record of managing a big team.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Passion about new technologies and their implementation into operations processes.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Customer-centric approach and global perspective.
• Experience in managing international teams and working in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Liberec and ideally several times per quarter to Budapest.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level).
