We are currently seeking a motivated Specialist, Source‑to‑Contract to join our team. This individual will play a key role in driving operational excellence across sourcing and contracting activities within our organization.
The Specialist, Source-to-Contract, will ensure that the Regional Service Delivery Procurement Source-to-Contract organization delivers results in support of the Global Services, One Procurement and Johnson & Johnson business strategy and objectives. The role works directly with the business, category procurement teams, and the broader function. Additionally, you contribute to and/or own the operational execution of prioritized category strategy implementations, sourcing and contracting cases, and other critical functional activities.
This role performs duties related to the implementation and execution of the organization's strategic sourcing plan, from assisting with contract negotiation, contract authoring and contract management activities through executing cost reduction strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Source-to-Contract function, including sourcing event management, price and other contract terms negotiation, contract drafting and execution, and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
- Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Support development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility; act as product owner for S2C tools and AI features; gather requirements, prioritize, test, and roll out enhancements.
- Builds relationships with internal customers and external suppliers, works to understand their business objectives, and provides support in addressing their needs.
- Mentors and collaborates amongst a team of Source-to-Contract specialists.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- 2-4 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience
- Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.
- Adaptability & Openness to Change
- Learning agility and the ability to identify opportunities for continuous process and technology improvement.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of Procurement, Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing and Contracting processes, and Source‑to‑Settle operations.
- Shared Services Industry experience.
- Experience in one or more Procurement functional domains, including Sourcing (covering negotiation of commercial and non‑commercial terms), Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Cash Collection, or Accounts Payable.
- Fluency in English (written and oral) is required. Fluency in one other EMEA language as Spanish or German (written and oral) is preferred.

- Requires up to 5% domestic and international travel.
