We are currently looking for an IT Security Specialist to join our security team and participate in our global cybersecurity and compliance activities, who will work closely with other departments and report directly to the Head of Global Information Security. GG is looking for a self-motivated, results-driven individual experienced in hands-on security, operating within modern security solutions, requiring minimal oversight, and able to work effectively with multiple global teams and organise priorities.

Your tasks – what can you expect?

• Proactively monitoring our systems and network communications using security appliances
• Identifying and addressing any security-related incidents with the assistance of other teams
• Conducting periodic scans to uncover and address vulnerabilities in our systems and network infrastructure
• Performing security assessments of our systems and network infrastructure
• Performing technical research and POCs for security solutions
• Continuous maintenance and troubleshooting of our security appliances to ensure optimal performance
• Efficiently resolving security-related service tickets
• Performing other security-related duties as needed

Your profile – who are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT security, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining IT security solutions, such as EDR, DLP, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, etc.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices and understanding cloud and hybrid infrastructures
• Demonstrated capability to learn and adapt to new situations and requirements
• High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Great attention to details
