As a Translation Project Manager at Pharmexon you will coordinate the workflow of our translation services from request to delivery and assure the highest quality throughout the entire service chain. In addition to the management of translation projects, this role will include procurement, cost control, invoice validation, and direct communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Your specific duties will include the following:

  • Responsibility for management and organization of the translation vendors on projects assigned to you
  • Scheduling resources and monitoring progress for translation and proofreading
  • Preparation of accurate quotes for translations
  • File preparation for translation i.e. proofreading using a CAT tool
  • Building and maintenance of translation memories
  • Recruitment and developing a network of experienced and reliable freelance linguists
  • Vetting process and rates negotiations
  • Setting up and maintaining linguists’ accounts in our supplier system
  • Responsible for the quality control of translations
  • Making sure client standards and deadlines are respected
  • Delivery of excellent client services and communications
  • Compiling and presenting reports on cost, quality & translation activities.
  • Quality assurance checking of translations
  • Effectively communicating with clients, linguists and colleagues with ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction


What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years’ experience with project management would be amazing, in Translation business is a plus
  • Translation / Interpreting Degree at BA or Masters level (or similar qualification), familiarity with the translation industry
  • Native level English or fluency in English, we are an international company that uses English to communicate with clients, vendors, as well as internally
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of a CAT-tool, preferably SDL Trados
  • Proven communication, organizational and time management skills, good in networking
  • Great team cooperation as well as ability to work independently
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Pharma experience or knowledge is a plus
  • Strong in multitasking and problem solving
