This role is well suited for professionals with experience either in Health & Safety or in Production and Operational Management where strong H&S standards are part of daily leadership responsibility.

The Health & Safety Manager fpr Central-East Europe (CSEE) plays a key role in shaping and influencing H&S performance across the diverse region of CSEE (Czechia, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece), driving compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with General Managers and Plant Management teams, the role supports the development of a strong, consistent safety culture and offers the opportunity to grow into a senior regional expert and advisor position.

What skills and knowledge should you posses

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
  • Coordinate CSEE risk management (HSBPA, Loss Prevention Policy) and external working groups

Performance & Reporting

  • Drive investigation of serious incidents and monitor regional H&S performance
  • Develop and oversee regional and plant H&S improvement plans (SIP)
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR on reporting and systems (SAM, Intelex)

Best practices & Training

  • Share best practices and lessons learned across the region
  • Support and develop local H&S Coordinators and plant leadership through training and guidance

Presence on-site

  • Play an active rolein developing complex safety measures

What is required

MUST-HAVE‘s

  • Fluency in spoken / written English (B2)
  • Proven experience at least 8 years in Health & Safety at plant or regional level
  • Solid knowledge of H&S legislation, risk management, and audit processes
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the CSEE region (50% of working time)
  • Advanced skills in SharePoint and Office 365
