About Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Supply Chain Management to lead and develop our end-to-end supply chain operations across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with a strong operational mindset and hands-on approach and is not afraid to be involved in day-to-day execution, including routine administrative tasks.

About Your Responsibilities:

Together with your team (5 people), you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving key supply chain areas, including Demand & Supply Planning, Sourcing, Logistic, Inventory Management and Customer Service, while ensuring smooth collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

As a sales organization without own manufacturing or warehousing, you will coordinate supply from affiliated production companies within the group and manage operations via external logistics partners.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supply Chain Management & Strategy

• Develop and optimize supply chain processes across CZ&SK
• Coordinate end-to-end supply flows from group production sites to external warehouse and final customers
• Ensure effective coordination between internal functions and external suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Demand & Supply Planning

• Manage demand forecasting in close cooperation with Sales and Marketing
• Align supply, inventory, and operations planning to ensure product availability
• Monitor and explain supply gaps and forecast deviations

Import & Supplier Coordination (European factories)

• Place and manage purchase orders based on forecasts
• Coordinate ordering of goods from affiliated manufacturing entities across Europe
• Monitor product availability and escalate delays
• Coordinate shipments, including loading/unloading and transport documentation
• Handle claims (quality, quantity, transport damages) and corrective actions
• Manage product data, pricing updates, and system entries (AS400, SAP)
• Support new product launches and seasonal projects from planning to execution

Logistics Management

• Manage cooperation with external warehouse and logistics service providers
• Coordinate cooperation with logistics providers and freight forwarders
• Set up processes, negotiate terms, and resolve operational issues
• Monitor logistics costs (transport, warehousing, copacking) and KPIs
• Participate in inventory processes, audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure compliance with customers and legislative requirements
• Oversee outsourced warehousing operations, including inbound, storage, and outbound flows

Copacking & Special Projects

• Coordinate copacking activities with Marketing and Sales
• Define packaging solutions, manage components, and oversee execution
• Supporting international projects and intercompany activities

Reporting & Systems

• Prepare regular KPI, cost, and status reports
• Work with systems such as SAP and AS400
• Communicate with global logistics teams and contribute to international projects

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management within FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of planning, logistics, and supply chain processes
• Hands-on, proactive approach with attention to detail
• Ability to manage both strategic initiatives and daily operations
• Experience working across multiple countries or markets is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AS400) is a must

Your Qualities and Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or similar field
• University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics or another relevant field is preferred
• Fluent in Czech (C2) & English (B2+), good knowledge of German would be an advantage
• Active experience with ERP system (SAP/IBP)
• Strong data analytical mind-set and the ability to work with various data sources and tools, accuracy
• High level proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) to design and execute complex queries and reporting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
