We are looking for a transformational IT leader to build and lead a global IT organization across nine international production facilities for a German automotive company.

This is a strategic senior leadership role with full responsibility for establishing a best-in-class IT structure, driving ERP harmonization, and enabling digital manufacturing transformation across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global IT operations strategy.
• Build and lead a global IT organization (currently decentralized, no global standards).
• Lead the rollout and implementation of a new group-wide ERP system.
• Harmonize IT infrastructure, governance, and service management processes.
• Oversee manufacturing systems (MES, ERP integrations, shop-floor systems).
• Ensure cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage global IT budget and strategic technology vendors.
• Act as trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership.

Your Profile

• 10+ years of IT leadership experience in global manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record managing multi-site international IT operations.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, ERP implementation, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
• Experience leading cross-cultural teams.
• Strategic mindset with strong transformation capabilities.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus.

Scope & Impact

• Senior Director level, direct report to CFO.
• Approx. 20+ IT FTE globally.
• Frequent travel within Germany and Czech Republic; international travel as required (especially during ERP rollout).
