We´re on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Demand & Supply Planning Specialist to join their team in Brno office branch, Czech Republic.

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the best possible estimate of future demand is released to Global Planning Department. The potential candidate will be tasked with forecasting and managing the demand for products that are manufactured and produced. He/she involves various activities and works in close collaboration with respective areas such as Inventory Management, Operations Planning, Procurement Planning, Marketing and Sales aimed at understanding and predicting customer demand and aligning production and inventory to meet that demand efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Review and validate the various data inputs to the demand plan in order to prepare a demand plan on a weekly basis for an 18-month horizon. Coordinate the process in daily communication and collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Logistics Departments.
  • You will be an important part in the SAP developing company team according to SAP implementation processes in the company.
  • Check and update baseline and uplifts received from Sales Department.
  • Prepare weekly demand plans and review them weekly based on exceptions. Make necessary corrective actions if the sales deviate from forecasts.
  • Ensure significant demand plan changes are communicated to the appropriate colleagues.
  • Co-ordinate events such as new product launches and promotions based on input from Sales & Marketing.
  • Monitor and analyze demand plan accuracy to identify areas for improvement and take or propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct additional analysis projects as needed.
  • Maintain SAP master data in cooperation with Logistics.
  • Follow the given planning cycle and deadlines.
  • Ensure discontinued SKUs won´t get produced.
  • Represent Demand and Supply Planning in relevant processes and meetings.

Your Qualities and Skills:

  • 2 - 3-year experience in Supply Chain or Production planning
  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade or another relevant field is preferred
  • Fluent in Czech (C2) & English (B2+), good knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • Active experience with Demand Planning in SAP IBP
  • Willing to work with large amounts of data and numbers on a daily analytical basis, great attention to detail and discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and accuracy
  • High level proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) to design and execute complex queries and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
