Pediatric sarcomas remain rare but highly aggressive malignancies with poor prognosis and limited
therapeutic options, creating an urgent need for innovative research approaches leading to better
treatment. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join a newly established
pediatric sarcoma research project focused on applied and translational research, conducted in close
collaboration with the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at University Hospital
Motol.

Requirements

• PhD degree (not longer than 5 years) in molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, genetics or a related field
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for research tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Motivation to learn new techniques and expand expertise

Optional

• Experience with NGS – wet and dry lab
• Experience with 3D cell culture
• Experience with microscopy
