What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Payroll Specialist within our CCS division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business, located in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, managing payroll systems, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries from employees.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

  • Processing end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
  • Maintaining and updating employee payroll records, new hires, terminations, and salary changes
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance departments to verify employee data and resolve discrepancies
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports, tax filings, and social insurance contributions
  • Addressing and resolving payroll-related queries and issues in a timely manner
  • Staying updated with changes in EU and UK labor laws and payroll regulations to ensure compliance
  • Assisting with internal and external audits as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Advanced level of English language skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field or comparable business experience
  • Good understanding of local payroll laws, tax regulations, and social insurance contributions
  • Proficiency in Excell
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and record-keeping
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to accuracy and ethical standards in handling payroll data
