Key Account Manager MDA/SDA, Miele CZ&SK

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Ensure sustainable and profitable market share and net sales growth with Key Accounts in the Electrical Retail Trade (ERT) and Pure Player (PP) channels, with a strong focus on digital sales development, e-commerce excellence, and omnichannel growth.

The role is responsible for driving the digital and omnichannel business with key partners, strengthening Miele’s premium brand positioning across both physical and digital retail environments, and executing the Central Europe East Brand & Channel strategies within the B2B distribution network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize market share and net sales of the Miele brand with respective customers while maintaining the premium positioning of the brand across offline and digital channels
  • Drive retail and e-commerce business development with key omnichannel retail chains and e-commerce players (e.g., Datart, NAY, Planeo, Alza), including assortment strategy and visibility across partner Point Of Sales
  • Build strong and trustworthy account relationships in a win-win and partnership-oriented approach
  • Set objectives, strategies and tactics including translation into joint business plans and omnichannel growth initiatives per account together with the line manager
  • Monitor and track performance of Key Accounts, including sales performance and KPIs, while proactively managing trends and changes
  • Drive the monthly sales forecast process for respective accounts
  • Take responsibility for data-driven analysis of Key Accounts, identifying trends in both retail and e-commerce environments, resolving problems and correcting procedural issues
  • Lead joint initiatives with key partners, including campaigns, product launches, content optimization and promotions
  • Continuously improve and develop key sales and sales back-office processes to provide excellence in service and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing and Digital teams to ensure premium brand presentation and best-in-class digital shelf visibility across partner websites and marketplaces

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD BE?

  • Sales manager with a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts in a mid- to large-size sales organization, preferably with exposure to e-commerce or omnichannel retail
  • Strong analytical skills for strategy development, business planning and performance analysis including digital sales KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal skills – very good communication, negotiation and presentation abilities combined with excellent relationship management
  • Experience working with e-commerce retailers or digital sales channels is a strong advantage
  • English skills – you will work with colleagues in an international environment (min. B2 level)
  • Existing customer relationships are an advantage
  • MS Excel – intermediate level
