What will I be doing?
An Outlet Manager is responsible for assisting hotel management in the direction and administration of a restaurant outlet in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards
- Plan, organize, and manage daily restaurant operations.
- Keep a strong customer service focus at all times.
- Take responsibility, show initiative, and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Suggest ideas to improve hotel operations and environment.
- Follow all safety procedures for yourself and others.
- Implement actions to improve customer service.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and report feedback to the F&B Manager.
- Assist guests proactively and train staff to anticipate guest needs.
- Ensure regular training on departmental standards.
- Prepare staff schedules according to business needs.
- Assign and delegate duties to team members.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge for the role.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
- Contribute to menu development with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef.
- Attend F&B operational and roster meetings.
- Communicate hotel and department goals to the team.
- Set departmental objectives for yourself and the team.
- Identify and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Support sales promotions and incentives.
- Identify and act on potential sales leads.
- Promote a sales-focused team culture.
- Prepare financial and operational reports when required.
- Forecast revenue and costs.
- Control costs while maintaining standards.
- Support staff recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensure proper departmental orientation and training assessments.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Carry out other duties assigned by management.
- Job responsibilities may change at management’s discretion.
