What you’ll do: The SCM is responsible for understanding and controlling the entire CZ Supply chain scope ( Material call offs, Warehouse, Flow design and leading the team. The SCM will assure LLP EU process is followed, ultimately delivering products that are production ready, when promised, at the logistics and process costs established, and that perform as expected.

Duties / Responsibilities of this position

  • The SCM will develop annual plans including Pert Charts, Gantt Charts, Open Issues Logs, Budgets and Spending Plans, and Risk Mitigations Plans.
  • The SCM will lead and manage all CZ team WH, LOG, Flow, Planinng
  • As the primary point of contact with our customers during the project phase (after initial tooling intent designs are established), the SCM has a significant impact on our customer’s perception of L&L. To maintain the highest level of satisfaction, in addition to delivering products and services that perform as promised, when promised, the SCM must always be attentive, responsive, courteous, and professional.
  • As part of the responsibility of assuring the succes SCM will work directly with vendors, customers, and managers of internal resources. The SCM will secure commitments and follow up to verify progress. If the SCM is not able to resolve issues, he/she is responsible to escalate to senior management for resolution.
  • As required by the customer, the SCM may need to access customer-specific Portals to provide updates to key milestone events, as well as completing questionnaires regarding program status.
  • The SCM will facilitate problem solving sessions as needed to assure issues are being addressed in a systematic and timely manner.
  • The SCM must be willing to travel, as required, to support the global customer.
  • The SCM will review and approve all engineering changes in logiscitsc and flow and layout.
  • The SCM will initiate or approve all logistics related expenditures.
  • The SCM will provide personal representation at customer meetings and builds as appropriate.
  • The SCM is a key participant in optimizing the cross-functional CI review process.
  • Assist in communicating company policy and any changes of the policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or economics
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Automotive, ideally also OEM
  • Minimum 8 years senior leadership experience
  • Purchasing experience is an advantage
