In the Pulp & Paper Automation and Digitalization department in Praha, we are looking for an Engineer, Sales Support & Proposal, EMEA (m/f/d).

What is waiting for you

Analyze RFQs/RFPs and customer inquiries for automation and digital solutions in the pulp and paper industry in cooperation with engineering and product management

  • Develop compelling technical and commercial quotations in close cooperation with product management, engineering, and sales managers
  • Coordinate with Regional Teams & the Sales Director to define optimal customer-specific proposals and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Ensure data quality and consistency within CRM, the proposal management tools and marketing material
  • Track proposal status, manage documentation, and follow up on deadlines and submissions
  • Support in cost estimation, pricing logic, commercial review processes
  • Participate in forecasting, internal reviews and feedback loops to continuously improve proposal quality and effectiveness

What skills and knowledge should you posses

  • Completed technical education (e.g., Technical Diploma or equivalent vocational training) in engineering, automation, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in sales support, proposal engineering, or technical backoffice functions, ideally in the automation, process industry, or capital equipment sector
  • Hands-on experience with RFQ/RFP processing, quotation preparation, and technical-commercial coordination
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and proposal tools
  • Basic understanding of automation systems, digital solutions, or process engineering
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments is a plus
  • Experience in industrial automation, process control, or digitalization solutions within sectors such as pulp and paper, chemical, energy, or manufacturing
  • Understanding of the sales cycles and customer requirements in B2B industrial sectors
  • Knowledge of pulp and paper industry processes is highly desirable, but not mandatory
  • Language skills English (must have). Any other European language is a bonus, especially Eastern Europe languages or French
  • Willing to travel to our clients or ANDRITZ entities in EMEA region (approximately <15%)

What can we offer

The salary for the advertised position amounts to 70.000 CZK per month (paid 12 times per year), including 120 hours of overtime per year. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market‑based salary.
