As our new Area Project Manager, you will play a central part in ensuring that innovative products reach customers through robust, efficient, and future‑ready production setups across our global factory network.
Meet your future team:
You will join our Centre of Excellence for Shutters & DSP (Decoration & Sun Screening Products). The team is responsible for specifying, developing, and delivering production technologies to our global manufacturing network within this product area.
As Area Project Manager, you will work across several international factories (CZ, France, Denmark), driving development and implementation projects that ensure aligned, high‑quality, and scalable production setups. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, and Production. Your role is central to ensuring that our factories are ready to accommodate new product launches, product modifications, and continuous process improvements.
Together with your colleagues, you will help secure manufacturing excellence across sites, contributing to the consistency, stability, and future‑readiness of the VELUX supply chain.
Your future role:
In this role, you will manage a wide range of technical projects across the DSP area. You will transform new product concepts into mature production setups, implement technological upgrades, and help transfer and scale solutions across factories. You will act as the connector between product development, technology, and production, ensuring that new technologies and products are introduced efficiently and with high production robustness.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Plan, facilitate, and coordinate project activities across Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics
- Drive development and implementation projects across both Danish and international factories
- Guide and motivate project teams, ensuring alignment, progress, and timely delivery
- Conduct risk assessments, mitigation planning, and thorough follow‑up on project activities
- Build commitment across the organisation through clear communication, involvement, and constructive feedback
- Prepare budgets, resource requirements, investment analyses, business cases, and process setups
- Collaborate with product development to secure strong Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Support ramp‑up, maturation, and transfer of manufacturing setups to other production sites.
You will be based in Vyškov and you may expect international travel of approximately 10–20 days per year, primarily within Europe.

Moreover, we expect that you:
- Hold a technical degree
- Bring several years of practical project management experience in a technical manufacturing environment with multiple workstreams
- Have strong planning and coordination skills and are comfortable delegating and following up
- Possess solid technical insight and an understanding of production processes; experience specifying manufacturing equipment is an advantage
- Communicate effortlessly in English, verbally and in writing. Czech language is an advantage.
