Our Prague branch specializes in reinsurance solutions for Central & Eastern Europe, providing tailor-made programs for insurance companies and partnering with global reinsurers. The role offers exposure to a wide range of activities, including reinsurance accounting, claims handling, financial analysis, projects involvement, monitoring, reporting, analysis and many others where we seek additional support. Part of your job will also include communication with clients, reinsurers and all other teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end reinsurance technical accounting and claims processes
  • Review reinsurance contracts, endorsements, and other contract materials
  • Prepare and review reinsurance technical accounts
  • Calculate, process and allocate premiums and claims in line with contract terms and market practice
  • Issue and manage debit/credit notes, claims advices and settlement statements
  • Monitor and resolve outstanding balances, including premiums receivable and claims recoverable
  • Liaise with cedants, brokers, reinsurers, and any other internal or external stakeholders
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, and management reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related field preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of French, Spanish or German is an advantage).
  • Prior experience or knowledge of insurance/reinsurance is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a mathematical mindset.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
