The Secondary School of Gastronomy and Hotel Industry LTD and Gymnázium Braník are currently seeking an experienced Native English Conversation Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative individual with the willingness to teach students in mixed-level classes.

???? What will you do?

• You will be responsible for preparing students for Maturita and Cambridge exams up to C1 level.
• You will be cooperating with other English teachers to deliver a well-rounded curriculum.

???? What you’ll need to succeed?

• Bachelor degree from an accredited university
• E.U. Citizenship/Czech Residency (Must be able to work in the Czech Republic)
• Recognized TEFL certification or the equivalent
• Experience teaching in a high school setting is an advantage

???? Compensation

• Starting salary of 50,000 CZK
• Performance bonus of up to 4,000 CZK after the probationary period
• Bonuses paid twice a year

• Full-time work (23 teaching hours) with health and social insurance covered

???? What will the recruitment process look like?

The first step is a phone call with Klára, our HR Manager. You will discuss basic information regarding how things work at our school.

If the initial call is successful, we will meet in person at the school. The face-to-face interview takes place with the Deputy Headteacher (your potential supervisor) and the Head of the English Language Department. You might also get a chance to meet Sarah, our other native English conversation teacher.
