Python Developer (Junior / Senior) – API & Infrastructure

Do you enjoy backend development, APIs, and working close to infrastructure?
Are you looking for something beyond typical CRUD apps — systems that run at scale in production and have real-world impact?

We’re hiring Python developers to help build and maintain APIs and internal systems that power our hosting and cloud services. Our team is distributed across Europe and North America, so some overlap in working hours is expected.

We work close to the metal — you’ll be dealing with real infrastructure, not abstracted platforms.

???? What you’ll be working on

• Developing and extending internal systems and APIs (e.g. reseller API, service configurators, VPS management)
• Building backend systems tightly integrated with real infrastructure
• Maintaining and improving existing services
• Debugging and resolving production issues (API, VPS, CDN, automation)
• Collaborating with infrastructure and operations teams
• Improving reliability, performance, and observability
• Owning services end-to-end (design → deployment → operations)
• Example: debugging why VPS provisioning fails under load or tracking down API latency spikes

???? What we expect

• Strong Python experience (commercial experience required for senior roles)
• Django / Django Rest Framework
• Experience with API design, security, and integrations
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and basic caching (Redis)
• Git (GitHub)

???? Experience Level

• Mid-level: ~2–4 years of professional experience
• Senior: ~4–6+ years with ownership of production systems
• English: B1+ (written communication required)

???? For senior engineers

• Influence system design and architecture
• Review code and help raise engineering standards
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices

➕ Nice to have (not required)

• Experience with DevOps / infrastructure
• Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
• Networking basics (IPv4/IPv6, DNS)
• Web technologies (TLS/SSL, caching, reverse proxies)
• Virtualization (Proxmox or similar)
• Hosting-related knowledge (e.g. WHMCS, provisioning, PXE/Kickstart)
