Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our international payroll function and ensure high‑quality payroll delivery across more than 20 countries. You will lead a team of specialists, collaborate with external vendors, and continuously enhance payroll processes in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience leading a payroll team (ideally 5+ people).
- Experience with multi‑country payroll or regional payroll oversight.
- Strong vendor management skills — process design, quality oversight, escalation handling.
- Experience in an international & matrix organization is an advantage.
- Good understanding of employment legislation (not required for all countries; vendor covers detail).
- Strong process mindset and ability to manage change.
- Advanced English.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of approx. 8 payroll specialists, including performance management, coaching, and support.
- Ensuretimelyandaccuratepayroll processing for 20+ countries.
- Manage collaboration with an external payroll vendor — SLAs, quality, communication.
- Design, standardize, and improve payroll processes across regions while ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Handle complex cases, escalations, and audit requirements.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of legislative changes across countries (with support from vendor experts).
