Position overview:
Your main focus as a Spare Parts Coordinator will be to control and optimize spare parts stock globally in close collaboration with production plants and central purchasing, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and cost efficiency across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the reduction and optimization of spare parts stock across global production plants
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring KPIs related to spare parts performance and inventory targets
- Collaborating with Storeroom, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure optimal spare parts availability
- Leading initiatives to reduce storeroom value and implement model storeroom standards globally
- Identifying and eliminating slow-moving and obsolete spare parts across all levels
- Working cross-functionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement best practices
- Supporting improvement projects through planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Promoting safety, quality, and 5S standards across production sites
Experience and skills required:
- Technical education (minimum high school, Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in process optimization and spare parts management
- Experience with project management
- Technical background with a mandatory ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Fluent English and Czech
- Good computer and data management skills, experience with SAP is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
