We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an international project focused on building modern financial systems. You will work on scalable backend applications that support critical business services in a modern microservices environment.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop backend applications in Java
• Work with microservices architecture
• Handle data processing and integrations (e.g. messaging)
• Collaborate within an Agile team (SAFe / ART)
• Optimize performance and ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Tech stack

• Java (8+)
• Spring / Spring Boot
• Kafka
• Microservices
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Nice to have: Spring WebFlux, C++, experience in financial domain

Requierements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong backend development skills
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of clean code principles and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• English for daily communication
• Based in the Czech Republic (residency required)
• Valid trade licence
