The FP&A Procurement Analyst is business minded. You will partner up often with other functions outside of the PPM team and has many stakeholders (Procurement Logistics, Operational Logistics, FP&A). You are active, analytical, focused and future oriented. You will analyze all Variable Logistics Cost (VLC) packages for Western Europe scope to close gaps, find opportunities and challenge the business to create value. Variable Logistics Cost (VLC) price analysis routine monthly closing activities, tracking and monitoring of results together with stakeholders in Procurement and FP&A team

What you will be doing:

  • Variable Logistics Costs for Procurement, price check and control in SAP/ERP
  • Actual and Forecast VLC data preparation in VLC Anaplan model
  • Building the 1YP for VLC Procurement and Identifying and analyzing variances vs budget and last forecast
  • SCFD reconciliation – Investigate the differences in SCFD versus calculations in VLC Anaplan model and take necessary corrective actions based on the analysis of root causes with FP&As
  • LE meetings with procurement team: organizing and moderating
  • Reports, presentations, analytical comments to be shared with stakeholders
  • New reports building within Anaplan & Power BI
  • Opening the gaps & helping procurement drive the result
  • Maintaining & enhancing VLC procurement models (VLC TRP Model, VLC Control Tower etc.)
  • Ad-hoc requests related to VLC procurement price
  • Conducting trainings & driving L&D agenda from the finance perspective towards Procurement

What you will bring:

  • 2 years in Finance/PPM - University Degree in Finance, Economics is an advantage
  • Previous experience in Procurement Financials is a big advantage
  • Fluent English and negotiation skills/mindset
  • Advanced MS Office tools knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint are a must)
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, Anaplan and PowerBI will be an advantage
  • Attention to detail and capable of managing complexity with strong analytical skills
  • Ownership to understand end to end VLC process
  • Effective communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive change
  • Result-oriented mindset and presentation skills
