Your mission
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain modern, scalable data solutions that deliver value across analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to transform business needs into robust, well‑structured data products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, maintain and monitor data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows that are secure, scalable, and reliable
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in value streams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable and executable plans to create data products
- Implement data models that support AI, analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
- Ensure data quality, observability, lineage, security, and governance across all data assets
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for cloud‑based data platforms
Your profile
You are a systematic, analytical, and collaborative problem‑solver who enjoys working with complex data and transforming it into meaningful structures. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset will help you thrive in our team.
To succeed, you bring:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data‑focused role
- Advanced SQL skills, including optimization and working with large datasets
- Good Python skills for data processing and automation
- Strong skills in data modeling, including merging, joining, filtering, and transforming structured and semi‑structured data
- Ability to build clean, validated, and deduplicated datasets that accurately reflect business rules
- Experience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, and domain‑oriented modeling
- Domain understanding: ability to understand the needs of business stakeholders and translate them into actionable data product designs
- Experience working iteratively with stakeholders to refine and improve data products over time
- Ability to challenge requirements, propose better solutions, and ensure alignment with business value
Location and other
This position is located in Prague, Czech Republic. Remote work within the Czech Republic is fully supported. Occasional travel is required.
